Call quality standards

What makes a restoration call qualified

Call quality determines whether a pay-per-call campaign is worth running. This page defines what we consider a qualified restoration call and how disputes over call quality are generally handled — final rules always follow your signed buyer agreement. Calls are recorded for quality review, where legally permitted, so you and our team can verify disputed calls against clear criteria rather than relying on memory or assumption.

  • Every call reviewed against clear criteria
  • Defined invalid-call categories
  • A defined dispute-review process

Qualified-call criteria

What makes a call valid

These are the baseline criteria we screen against before a call is ever counted as billable.

  • The caller has a genuine need matching your selected service type (water, fire/smoke or mold)
  • The caller is located inside your confirmed coverage area (GEO match)
  • The call connects live and meets the minimum duration set in your agreement
  • The call is not a duplicate of a previously billed call from the same caller and issue, where duplicate-handling rules apply to your campaign

Invalid-call categories

Common exclusions

Calls matching any of these patterns are handled under the invalid-call policy in your buyer agreement rather than counted as billable. The exact treatment is agreed upon before campaign launch.

  • Wrong service type — for example, a general handyman request routed to a water damage campaign
  • Wrong GEO — a caller outside your confirmed coverage area
  • Spam, prank or clearly non-genuine calls
  • Dead air or calls that disconnect before meeting the minimum duration
  • Duplicate calls, where duplicate-handling rules apply to your specific campaign

Tracking, review & buyer responsibilities

How disputes are actually handled

The categories on this page describe our general approach. They are not a substitute for your signed buyer contract, which governs the specific billing and dispute terms for your campaign.

Call Recording

Where legally permitted, calls are recorded for quality review so you and our team can verify disputed calls against the criteria above.

Answer-Speed Responsibility

Because these are live inbound calls, buyers are responsible for answering promptly during their stated coverage hours. Consistently unanswered calls can affect future routing.

Disputing a Call

If a call was miscategorized or should not have been billed, disputes are reviewed against the call recording and your agreement within its specified window.

Questions answered

Call quality FAQs

Clear answers to the most common questions businesses ask before starting a campaign.

How long do I have to dispute a call?

The dispute window is defined in your buyer agreement — ask your account contact if you are unsure of the exact timeframe.

Are all disputed calls automatically refunded?

No. Each dispute is reviewed against the call recording and your agreed criteria before a decision is made.

What is the minimum call duration to count as billable?

Minimum duration is set per campaign in your buyer agreement.

Can I tighten my call criteria if I am getting too many unqualified calls?

Yes — GEO and service criteria can be adjusted; talk to your account contact about narrowing a campaign.
